Perfect for my granddaughters room. Some place to sit and play by day and if she spends the night, we can make it into a bed. Its not soft and squishy-definitely firm and sturdy. Easy to assemble-the hardest part was getting it out of the box. I like it most of all because it doesnt take up the space of a bed so the room doesnt need to look like a bedroom.
