I received this bed in perfect condition, it was not broken and had all pieces. It is 100 lbs so two people will be needed to lift the package into the room. All pieces come inside of the headboard packaging, along with instructions.
I assembled this by myself in about 1.5 hours, and I have no experience prior to assembling furniture! The instructions were easy to follow, and there is even a little video you can follow along with on THIS product page. You will not need any additional tools other than what was provided in the package.
Overall super happy with this purchase. It is sturdy and stylish.
