The set up was very simple and took no longer than 20-25 min if that. The directions to put the bed together was simple and easy to comprehend. Slats are sturdy and more than enough to hold up the mattress. The bed itself us sturdy and firm. Now, the bed looks beautiful and I was not disappointed at all with my purchase.
