This is just what I was looking for. It leaves about 4-6 on either side when placed at the end of my queen-size bed. The cats immediately claimed it for their own. I did buy 9 legs for it after reading the reviews. Im 52 and the 9 legs are a bit too much. 7 would have been perfect, but I do agree that the legs it comes with are too short. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend.
