We are in the process of making one of the rooms in our house into a hangout room for the kids. The room isnt very big, so we cant really fit a couch in there. We thought about maybe a futon since we wanted something that they could use for seating but also could double as a spare bed when there cousins or whoever stay over. This faux leather sofa bed showed up at the perfect time for us and seamed like it would be perfect for our needs.
As far as assembly goes, its not horribly hard, but its not easy either. I tried doing it myself and ended up getting frustrated quickly, but once I had help it wasnt to bad.
The overall look of this is pretty nice. The metal does look a little odd with the faux leather, but it has a nice color and overall look. The cushions are actually quite big and fluffy, which is awesome! I generally dont buy furniture online since the last two attempts were disasters and the cushions were like 1/4 the thickness that they looked online in the photos. But this one has some nice and thick cushions that are quite comfortable.
I was a bit worried about how the faux leather would feel and the kind of quality it would be. But Im happy to say that the faux leather on this is actually decently soft and comfortable to sit on.
This chair bed doesnt take up to much room at all when its in the chair position, but its still nice and wide, which is awesome! Its super easy to fold out into a bed, and its actually not uncomfortable either when it is. I could totally fall asleep on it and Im pretty picky about those types of things. Overall I pretty happy with this! For the price point I dont think its a bad deal at all, and its perfect for our needs!
