This sofa still looks beautiful and works great 9 months into owning it, with pretty regular use. So far, my initial concerns haven't happened---No deflated cushions, no creaks or cracks in the wood, no burnished or worn-looking areas in the leather, no split seams or popped buttons (I deliberately avoided ones with smaller pieces of leather sewn together and/or with buttons on the bottom cushions---having them on the back side seems OK).
It DID arrive with a small scratch in the leather on one of the arms, likely from shipping/handling. The cardboard container it was shipped in took a LOT of abuse.s customer service immediately made things right so I didn't feel the need to return it. Just carefully inspect everything for damage when it arrives and you'll be fine.
