We are very happy with this bed. We got it for our 6 year old and she loves it. Much better quality than expected for the price. My husband is very handy and he had it together by himself in about 2 hours. He said it was overwhelming at first because ALL the pieces are there, nothing is put together. His only recommendation is to use wood glue in the holes and then put the screws in to make it sturdier. We both have slept on the bottom bunk to put my daughter to sleep so it can support 350lbs! There was a little chemical smell for a few days but not bad enough that she couldnt sleep on it for the first night.
