I bought this chair a couple of yrs. ago, it is a big person chair, I like that. Im 64, 64, and 285. have all my strength, so using the lever for the foot rest is no problem. The biggest problem I had, is that the springs and STEEL rod assembly under the seat, well, the rods broke in five different places. The rods are roughly 1/8 in. in diameter, so I think I should use the word STEEL loosely.
Hard to believe that a chair that says it will hold up to 500 lbs. would do something like that, and of course I didnt get the extended warranty. Go figure.
I do like the arm rests, I am not a big fan of the pillowed arm rests. I would like to know that I can lean on them and are solid and well padded. These arm rests could have better padding. In stead of using the typical stuffing, they could use thick memory foam.
I order another chair like this, a long with the extended warranty, I think that the problem I had, will come in pairs. must get their steel from China. Cheers.
Its an A/OK chair
