First of all, I'm a woman pushing 74 and was able to put this together by myself. Took me some time but directions were very concise and everything lined up perfectly. I decided to not attach the rack due to space limitations. In order to fill in the 6 holes on that side, used MinW color matched wood filler in white. Once dried, it matched perfectly. No sanding or painting needed. Absolutely love the sturdiness and storage capacity. No problems with leaf drooping when extended. Well worth the money.
