    Very Nice Cabinet

Like everything, there are pros and cons: Pros: The cabinet went together fairly easily. What I REALLY like is that for each screw/bolt bag there was one extra screw or bolt than was needed. We have all dropped or lost a screw in assembly and had to go buy another. This was an excellent example of super customer service. The cabinet seems sturdy and well designed. Cons: Because the doors are pre-hung, if they are out of kilter you are in a bind. Now let me start off by saying most people would not notice a problem with the doors, but my wife likes everything just so. The left door was 1/8 inch too high and the right door was off on the bottom hinge so they did not align perfectly. It would have been a LOT better had the door hinges been the type that have a slot you can adjust up and down and then tighten. You just can't resink a hinge screw 1/16 inch below the other hole -- they rip the hole and make a mess. The instructions: they don't mention it but it would be a good idea to have a very light-weight finishing hammer to close the wood clips. Trying to close them with your fingers can get painful. Also installing the shelves in step 13 of the instructions should be moved to the end of step 14 because you have to remove the top shelf to access the two screws for the top. These are very minor problems and as I said, most people probably would not notice if the doors are slightly misaligned. Wish List: One thing I would really like to finish off this cabinet is an optional stainless steel top or a stainless overlay for the top. I'm pretty rough on my kitchen countertops.
