Really pretty chair and easy to assemble. However, its not comfortable enough for anything but occasional use. The arms are low enough that you cant rest your elbows on them, due to the fact that the seat cushion has almost no give, so you sit up a couple inches too high for the arm rests. Also, the back rest hits too low to comfortably lean back. To give some perspective, I am only 53, but I am plus size and even I can barely get the cushion to give, at 198 lbs. At 53 the back hits just below my shoulder blades.
After two weeks of sitting in it for a couple hours a day, it hasnt softened up at all. Which is a shame, because it is a beautiful chair.
I would return it if it werent cheap enough to make the return not worth the hassle.
