The holes that connect the in the middle to the headboard and the foot of the bed did not line up correctly. I almost thought I would have to return it but I got it to fit after forcing the frame to bend and essentially tilting some of the screws in ways that they would work. Its still a nice bed but if you dont have the strength or patience to bend the you might have to return it for
