It took a few hours to assemble with two people and two hex keys. The welds on the non-structural parts arent very good, and I had to put some superglue on them to stop them from squeaking. Not that it completely stopped the squeaking, you can still hear it in side to side movement. There were a few parts slightly shorter than what they were supposed to be, and a few dents here and there, but nothing that prevented assembly.
Its sturdy enough for a child to sleep on top, but not someone who moves a lot in their sleep or is heavier than 100 lbs, if you ask me. It sways side to side when someone is climbing up, so dont get it if youre a really light sleeper. Its what I expected for the price, and in the end I still sleep on it every day. Its alright for what it is, since you cant really get anything much better this cheap in this configuration.
