I am so in love with this chair. It is firm, but it holds up well and it is a large chair I can curl up in with a good book. I have three pets and the hair is easily vacuumed off and even though its a light color it is pretty resistant to muddy paws. My only complaint about this chair is I bought one to make sure I liked it and when I went to buy the second one the price increased a pretty substantial amount so I waited to see if it would go back down in price but it never did. I ended up waiting a few months and the price never went back down so I sucked it up and bought the second one. Other than that, I am very happy with these chairs.
