Assembly is easy enough; chairs sit a bit too low

Easy assembly, if you use a cordless drill or screw driver. I put together six of them fairly quickly. No parts missing. The legs are a bit too short OK if you dont mind heaving yourself up some. Not a big deal, but could be for older/less agile folks. If you intend to paint these chairs, prime them with an oil based primer first, as thats whats called for with Hemlock. For sure prime and paint BEFORE assembly. If youre gonna use rattlecan paint, count on 2 2 1/2 cans per chair for matte colors. 3 cans for light, bright colors. The chairs look best in matte finish, and take matte paint much better than gloss paint. The chairs are fairly light, easy to move, but creak a bit Hemlock is not a heavy, dense wood. Well see how they hold up. The folding design is well done, no issues. The popular outdoor paints, Krylon, Rustoleum, etc., claim to be primer and paint in one can but the Hemlock wood is awful thirsty.
