Overall the chairs were not horrible to put together

NOTE: I was ok with putting the 2 chairs together and I am handy. Overall the chairs were not horrible to put together. They took me about 30 mins each. I did take some additional time to make sure the slats were spaced well. These chairs were a gift. Below are some suggestions from my experience. Tools: Power Drill, Channel Lock Pliers, 13mm Lug Wrench is suggested, Tape Measure (for accurate spacing), Phillips head Screwdriver. If you have plans of weatherproofing these, it would be best to do it BEFORE assembly. and a light sanding with 120 will even everything nicely. 1. Match all the like parts together by the stamped part number. 2. When assembling the backrest, I screw the slats in only partially because it can be tough to align the screw and the holes. Working from center slat out is easier to align the screws. 3. When assembling the seat slats, I used a tape measure to space them 3/4 apart. 4. I found it easier assembling these alone, to assemble the F part legs and then screw them onto the base. This also helped with screwing the back on.
