This is technically a foldable chair. However, due to how the chair is put together, to fold it you need to knock out a couple pins. I wouldnt want to do that on a regular basis, but it is something Ill do when putting it up for the winter. Hopefully Ill be able to find the pins in the spring.
I had a bit of trouble finishing the installation. I had to disassemble part of the chair to get the bold holes to line up. Maybe I was doing it wrong, but the instructions werent particularly helpful.
Having said that, let me say that this is my new favorite lawn chair. It is very comfortable, very good looking, and I expect it to be more durable than a similar wooden Adirondack chair. Also, similar Adirondack chairs are selling for nearly 400 locally, so this is a very good deal.
