You get what you paid for. Nothing more. (Updated)

This sofa was the perfect size for my small apartment. It is relatively easy to assemble and comes with the tools required to set it up. The color is more of a charcoal . The parts come nested within each other. There are clear instructions provided. Pros: 1. Cheap, good looking, nice color 2. Not too heavy 3. Legs come with threaded washers to lock them in place 4. Can be used as L shaped sofa or sofa with ottoman by moving the cushions around 5. All cushions have Velcro strips to keep them in place 6. Im 5 8 and have slept on this comfortably through the night Dropped one star for the reasons below: Cons: 1. The instructions on putting the left armrest and the base cushion together are incorrect. Slide the base into the cushion slots in reverse. That should work. However, it is still wobbly after slotting it in which I didnt like. 2. The longer base cushion is firm and the other two sides for base cushions are soft. This means that one side of the sofa will be firmer and higher than the other side (see pics) 3. The cloth is not cut over the screw slots in some places (see pics) 4. The backrest slots into a slot with a clip which is hard to open if you do it incorrectly 5. The finish is inconsistent Overall, if youre looking for something cheap for say a first sofa, or for a small place like a dorm room or first apartment, this is a good buy. Its very usable, looks good and the material feels nice. However, if youre looking for something more permanent in a family home, look for something better. Update: Almost a month later, the backrest now creaks every time I lean back. I can also feel the support beam through the longer cushion which makes it really inconvenient and uncomfortable. Wouldnt recommended.
