This is a very well built and solid bunk bed. We were also contemplating the Mydal but were not impressed with the wobbliness and thin boards of the display model nor its inability to breakdown into two separate twins. Difficult to buy a bed sight unseen but without many other choices for affordable bunks with a minimalist design we have been very happy with how well these beds look and how solid the beds feel even with a 5 and 3 year old jumping on them daily.
