I dont usually write reviews for , but I will for this product. I am 67, my husband is 74 and we put this bed together with no problem. It is beautiful. It is sturdy. Its a little low, so beware that you cant use pedestal risers to add height because of the stabilizer bars in the middle of the bed. Theres lots of storage room under the bed. We bought a SleepNumber mattress for this bed and DID need to purchase bunkie boards for its support, as the crossbars are over 2 apart. I specifically wanted to mention that, as I had not seen it in any reviews for this product. Overall we are extremely happy with this bed, and the price was very competitive.
