Edit: 11/8/17 I accidentally bent one of the slats by putting my weight on it. Its not the beds fault, but I think my mattress will feel better with a box spring since the mattress kind of melts into the gaps underneath.
I had bought another bed on before. That one was made of flimsy wood, so it did not last two months. This one I got about a week ago. This bed was easy to put together. The only problem I had was that one of the holes wouldnt properly align when putting the frame and the headboard together. I ended up finishing the rest of the bed and went back to it. I was able to screw it in better. The bed does not squeak, and is very sturdy. The finishing on the bed scratches easily, but I dont anticipate too many problems with that. The directions are very clear in what you need to do and if you have trouble with putting the bed together, you probably arent doing something right.
