I was intimidated when I saw all the parts and screws but the bed wasnt difficult to put together at all. I put the bed together by myself in about 3 hours with breaks in between and it would habe been quicker if Id paid attention well. I didnt put the storage part together until a few days later on my day off. The only drawback to me is there is no track to keep the drawers straight as they go in and out.
