Cute bed and easy to put together

I bought this bed sized up from a toddler bed we have for my 4 year old toddler. I came across this one during Prime day and figure it will lasts her for some years hoping into her teenage year(if we dont decide to move to another house by then). Everything in the manual was laid out easy step by step instruction, one man job is more than capable. The only part I find was a bit physical was having to use my feet wedging up side boards in order to screw in the legs but I found that using a spare piece of bed leg will hold it up just right. Everything went fine till the very last part where I have mistakenly placed one of the slab curve side down and I already pegged in the connector. It was a very tough to remove but I figure its only one slab and toward the very top part of the bed, which do not require much support, so Ill leave it at that. But its very important to follow the instruction when it says this side up, etc I dont know if this can be remove easily if you were to move since the slabs were very difficult to remove once pegged in. I may have to use a hammer to wack it out at that point but hopefully we will stay in this home forever. Overall the bed is sturdy, the strews are tightened in place with the bed due to have a metal female part inside the wood to secure the screws very tightly. The middle part of the slab runs across from the headboard to footboard is supported and screwed in tightly. This is well made and thought of. I even notice lack of fire retardants which is a plus! That stuff will mess with your hormones. I think the bed will survive my toddler year.
