Overall these are a good set of dining chairs with a good value for the price.

Wanted something neutral to go with our farmhouse decor in our dining room. Overall these are a good set of dining chairs with a good value for the price. These were not easy to assemble for us. The instructions included with my chairs were not for the chairs at all. The instructions in the box with the chairs were for a love seat. So as you can imagine things did not start out so well. Assembly took over an hour or so for all 4 chairs from start to finish. Assuming you get the correct instructions you could likely cut that time down. We were assembling with nothing to go by so that took some time. This in part is why I am only giving 4 stars, I know not everyone would have been able to figure these out without proper instructions. These dining chairs are a complete assembly required. Tons of small nuts and bolts and lots of wooden pieces to put together. These are sturdy enough that the larger heavier members of our family can sit on them without worry. The only thing I will note is that on the bottom of the chair legs there are little screw pegs, we had to spend a lot of time adjusting these to make the chairs sit level. Each one seemed to be off slightly from the next and wobbly. So account for the time spent to do that as well. Once you get them all set and sitting level you should have no issues it is just sort of a paint to go through the process of figuring out what one of each four legs on each chair is the culprit. These are comfortable as far as dining chairs go, much more comfortable than a regular all wooden chair. These are wood but upholstered as well so they are comfortable for long dinners or if you play games at your dining table or anything that would have you sitting in them for extended periods. For the price, it is a good set of chairs with a good value for the money. These have been holding up well to regular use. I have even spot cleaned a few spills from my son on one chair and you cannot tell at all. If considering for a gift, I would recommend going the extra mile and assembling them for the recipient in advance.
