Ignore concerns about the size of this chair. I am 62 with a wide build, and I fit in it fine. The arms will fit below a standard 28 writing or computer desk. It is by no stretch of the imagination an incredibly comfortable chair, but its not meant to be a club chair or a love seat. I write and read at my desk for hours a day, hang my leg over the side, and slouch down so my shoulders rest against the back, and this chair has treated me perfectly fine for 3 months now.
