So, overall Im really please with this bunkbed. It is nice looking and was fairly easy to put together. Im not the handiest but I do have a lot of tools so I did cheat and use a screw gun for most of the installation. I took my time and it took me about 3 hours to put the bed together. I like the quality of the bed. The design is nice and the instructions were easy overall to read. I had to loosen a couple screws at one point to get to other ones but the directions showed me what I did wrong. A really cool thing is the barrel bolts. They are the round bolts that hold the frame together. They will send straighten when you are installing. You just back the screw in and out and they rotate. I included pictures of them. It will make sense once you buy the bed.
The only thing I would point out to improve would be that there are no extra screws in case you strip any and the only thing that really holds the top and bottom bed together, in theory, is 4 wooden dowel rods and the ladder. It freaked me out so I added small metal braces on the back to tie them in better.
Piece of cake.... kinda
