Extremely sturdy. The wood are wider than most ones, so it meets the recommendation of the mattress maker. Lots of storage and looks great. Easy to set up if you follow instructions. (I made a mistake and screwed in the 8 long bolts to where I should have put the short ones, so I had to unscrew them and start over). Correct assembly should only take 20 minutes.
