This is a great piece of furniture. I was needing a home for coats, backpacks, purses for our entry way/dining room. We have an older home without a coat closet and everybodys stuff would just get thrown on the dining table or floor. I bought this with the matching pantry and absolutely love both pieces. This is about 3 inches too wide for the space I have but I measured before and knew ahead of time that it was a little too large. I was in love and bought it anyway. It covers about 1 1/2 of trim on each side but doesnt block the window or door on either side. It took me about 2 hours to assemble myself and is a very sturdy piece of furniture that will last a long time. Love it!
