Since we dont have a coat closet and we enter through our kitchen, we needed somewhere to put our shoes and coats when we come in and this is perfect! The top part does wiggle a little when you put anything heavier on the hooks, but if you affix for a wall (it comes with the hardware to do so), you wont have any issues. Overall, we love it.
