I got the darker wood and I think it looks good, I really like the USB/outlets (I have my work computer on one side and gaming PC on the other so I have a lot of things to plug in and this makes it so much easier and helps keep it organized/cleaner looking). The downsides are that mine was missing the bracing pieces for the back, so the desk itself shakes a ton if I bump it with my chair or something. It stands fine and does what it needs to, I'm not worried about it collapsing or anything but its a relatively lighter desk so I really wish I had gotten something heavier duty so I didn't have to reorganize everything that fell over every time I accidentally bumped it. Also, build quality is not great. The desk top consists of 3 large pieces and they don't line up flush, luckily it's not super noticeable with how I have my monitors/mouse pads set up etc, but they didn't do a great job. Mine also arrived with a good amount of damage. I'm not super picky so I just deal with it, but some of the edges of the desk top have been beat up, the plastic lining that goes around the outside of the desk top is missing or ruined, and it arrived like that. If you're looking for something that does the job and is cheap, it's a good desk but if you're looking for something nice, sturdy and well built, this isn't it.
