I bought this desk because its dimensions allowed it to fit perfectly where I needed it. It is well built and fairly easy to put together. As with most assemble-yourself furniture, make sure you put the bolts in just a little loose at first so you can line all the parts up right before tightening them; if you don't, you might end up with weird gaps between the two pieces that make up the desktop surface.
Another review mentioned the height of this being a reason to return the desk. While I agree that the desk was too high for me as made, I decided to keep it anyway; it's otherwise well-built and the dimensions are clearly specified in the description, so there can be no docking this item for my personal preference. Actually, its design made the height issue easy to address and was more reason to keep this desk. Here're the details on how that worked...
At 29-1/2 the desk was much higher than other desks I have. As a shorter person (5'4, like the other reviewer) I find a desk between 27-1/2 and 28-1/2 to be an okay height. At a full inch over the highest I can handle, this desk was initially quite uncomfortable for me to sit at. Because of how the desk is made, though, this was pretty easy for me to correct. From the bottom of each of the vertical supports, I cut off 5cm (a little under 2 to make sure I didn't cut off the weld, which would have significantly weakened the desk). The plastic feet plugs were then easily removed from the cut-offs and put back on the vertical supports. In one image you can see the vertical support with one portion cut down compared to the uncut portion. The other image shows some of the cut-offs to give a sense of how much was removed.
The desk is now about 27-3/4 - perfect for me! If you're a shorter person worried about the height of this desk, you might still be better off getting this one if you otherwise like it since it is easily shortened. This was definitely less time and money than shopping around forever for a desk that fit my space, fit my body, and fit my budget out of the box. Modifying furniture like this is usually impossible to do without ruining it - so good job to this manufacturer for making something at a good price that can hold up to reasonable customization.

Well-bit, perfect fit, but too high...
