Update: Had bed together for approximately two weeks and the bottom bunk that my 140lb daughter just sits on during the day with a 6 memory foam mattress has bent slats! It is supposed to hold 440lbs! Excuse the cat in the video but I was trying to illustrate the degree of which it is bent with the paper tube rolling. Very infuriating!
I bought this because of the weight limits being higher than most. It is very sturdy, no squeaky bed sounds. The directions could have been a little better, its just pictures and it needs to be put together precisely for all the holes to line up. We used a rubber mallet to gently tap in the slats that were off a bit, try doing some in the middle and the ends and alternating to help.
Happy at first, then very upset!
