I put this in the coat closet by my front door. The mirror hangs close to the door but I used 2 Command picture hanging strips to make sure the bottom of the mirror stays attached and does not move when the door is opened or closed. It works great. I got white which blends well with my white closet door. Even though its an over-the-door bracket, its not too noticeable which is nice because it is in my entryway.
