I bought this for my 84 yo mother. She was had a broken arm and couldnt push herself up. It was a lifesaver. No its not real leather but its really soft. The heat and massage feature are nice. It doesnt get really hot but you can feel a little warmth. She slept in it for 4 weeks and said it was quite comfortable.
