This was a little more expensive than some of the other basic wood platform beds but I am so glad I spent a little more. It is solid wood. No pressed wood or composite. It was SO easy to put together. The directions were written by someone who speaks native English (it was also ) which was the first thing that made it easier. No weird translation issues, big easy to follow pictures, well labeled parts, tips to guide you so you put it together right. It took maybe 40 minutes with two people being very careful to do it correctly. We have had it up for a week. No issues so far.
