The couch comes in two separate packages. We received each of them on different days, which was a little annoying, but it wasnt really a deal breaker.
We read the reviews prior to ordering and saw that there was one minor issue with the instructions, but noticed that they fixed the instructions. We kinda used our common sense to determine if the instructions were accurate or not.
We unboxed everything in about 10 min and assembled everything in roughly 15/20 min. You dont need any tools. All the pieces you need are there.
The couch does have a certain smell to it when you open it up, which still barely lingers after a month, but most of it is gone within 24 hours.
The cushions are vacuum sealed, so itll take a couple hours for them to get back to their normal shape and size.
I am 60 and 325lbs and the couch is sturdy enough. For a small couch, its pretty cozy. I still fit in one of the seats fine, I dont take up two of the three seats when sitting. My ankles and feet hang off the ottoman even when I sit upright though. Also, I would say that I would normally be worried if I leaned all the way back against the back cushions, but I couldnt tell you how sturdy it is since we have our couch against the wall. Laying down on the couch across all three seats is perfect with a pillow against the armrest, but anyone taller than maybe 62 might have issues.
I am not disappointed with this couch at all. The firmness of the couch is to my liking. Its not too stiff and not too soft even with my extra weight.
I think for 300 its a fair price. I thought the delivery fee was a bit much though for the two packages to not come on the same day. It is great for a small apartment and other small living spaces. I actually still have my old couch next to it still haha
