The Top of the seat is 18 from the floor.... the cushion will sink 2 once sat in and will give a unexpected kink in your measurements when planning table height, etc...
also, the seat has a low rider style lean from front to back onto top of the already 15 degree tilt of the back... it is an awkward chair if you intend on using under a table to sit at... could be used next to a side table, just fine, but be cautious with other uses
