We took a chance and are regretting this purchase. Huge investment to build up the modules to the way we want it. Weve now spent $2000 in modules to get a sofa large enough to seat our family of 4 (normal size/height) and a visitor. 1. The legs are WAY too short, resulting in a sofa fit for a child. The seller could easily address the negative height reviews and offer 5 or 6 legs instead of 3.5 legs, since those components come in the storage box and simply screw on. Wed have to invest over $200 in legs to replace them on our full set. We knew it would be lower to the ground but are just frustrated in how tiny it looks in our room. 2. Uncomfortable. Hardly padded, no luxurious feel at all. Back pillows take up half of the seat, so I always feel like Im sliding off. Some parts are already a little lumpy after just a few weeks. The most recent component (seat w/back) we added doesnt seem to fully match in size with those wed already purchased—frustrating. Its more puffy and the back is a slightly different height—almost uneven. Again had no choice but to purchase additional modules because the thing needed to fit our family. 3. Were already seeing fraying fibers, which REALLY worries me. I really hope this ottoman couch holds up for a few years at least—I will update my review in 6 mo.
We do like the storage component and the ease of assembly. Delivery process was weird—if you order this set for your kids, be ready to have pieces arrive on totally different days with no individual updates. We have a covered front porch, but drivers still left boxes on the driveway to be rained on.
