the table is pretty nice. The legs are not wrought iron but just hollow tubing that is bent and welded into shape. The packaging appeared very stout. However I have noticed many dings in the metal legs. They are small enough that it is not worth the hassle to return. Besides I will probably paint then black eventually anyway. The assembly was easy. From unpack to setup I was done in 20minutes. If you have a decent Allen wrench set instead of the small one that is included you can probably do it even faster.
The wood appears solid but I am sure the top layer is a veneer. It has to be based on the pattern. But it is good and sturdy. A good height. Perfect fit between two chairs.
