Not as sturdy as my other trundle for my kids. I bought for 800 bucks. Of course this one is way cheaper, thus making the good old phrase of you get what you pay for come to play.
If this is your first trundle and dont have anything to compare it to. This would fit your bill. But if you have experienced real product that is sturdy and say to assemble, then Youll see the difference. This took nearly an hour to put together without any help. Everything was assembled as it was stated in the instructions manual. Just to compare my other trundle. It took 20 mins. The head and foot of the trundle was one piece. So you had to add the sides and you were good. The bottom trunks was super easy to assemble as well.
This took time.
Additionally, the upper trundle comes with a metal rod that goes from foot to the head of the bed. And the wooden spring goes over it. As you have guessed it. Theres a tiny gap in between. Therefore, every time anyone lays or moves on the bed, youll hear noise.
I would prefer a different trundle.
