This bed is well built and went together pretty easily. It took me a little over an hour to build by myself, though I did have a drill to get the job done, and I would NOT have enjoyed the process otherwise. There are a lot of screws. My only real complaint is that the bed is really low to the ground. Not a problem if you plan for it to be a childs bed, but getting in and out of it for anyone over ten isnt graceful, and for seniors or someone with mobility issues, it would present a real challenge. I loveee the bed - just wish it was a few inches taller!
