First impression was that this was a good but. It felt sturdy and the lift mechanism appeared sound. Fast forward a couple of month and I started experiencing issues with my Purple mattress. When it was in the up position the mattress would slide down too far and get stuck, making bed not close able.then come today the gas piston on the left gave out. So now bed is kinda busted. I mean its ok but dont expect to use it for longer than a year
