We expected this to be hard to put together but my daughters fiance and I did it in under 2 hours. And that was including the time it took us to correct the crystals which I will point out now for those who make the next ones. The instructions do NOT tell you to put the crystals into the firebox before attaching it to the cabinet. BE SURE you do this before installing the firebox or you will have to unscrew it and remove it to get the crystals in. That was the only error in the instructions as they were very easy to follow and well written. The color changes are aming and can be set up for different colors for the crystals and the flames as shown in the video. My daughter was cycling through fast to show the combinations of which there are literally dozens. I am not sure why some people said you cant change the color as you clearly can. You can change it to just about any mood. Looking forward to doing red flames on green crystals for Christmas!
