Once they are on that thing is solid so dont skip putting on stabilizers down both sides. The frame goes together pretty quick so the most time is spent on mattress rack. I put a 12 in pillow top mattress on and its great. The bed is beautiful and if you put it together right its very sturdy. Bonus is the storage underneath. I didnt want a trundle because I needed storage in tight space . I love this bed! It looks great and very quiet and comfortable.
