I used to use a pop up style canopy tent and it worked really well, no issues at all. But after a few seasons the canopy wore out, as they typically do. I was going to buy a new pop up tent and then realized that there are tents made specifically for die hard BBQers like me and the cost is relatively the same.
These guys offered a few color choices and I picked a darker red and am happy with the color. It took me about an hour to assemble it and did it alone. The kit came with everything needed and I literally needed zero tools. All the bolts are hand screwed in and hold well. The hardware is mid grade and okay quality.
I love that there are two shelves, although I ended up only using one. The hooks the set/up comes with for bbq tools is nice and doesnt have to be instal. The tent is durable and I dont have the legs bolted or screwed into my deck and the wind hasnt caused any issues, such as we have had problems with when using a pop/up tent.
I also really like that the canopy hardware allows for ware and with time I can tighten the top canopy if the weather stretches it somewhat. I have a large Traeger and it fits nicely under the canopy with plenty of room for pellets. Also the tent comes with two lights that I dont use, a bottle cap opener that gets a lot of use and a hook in the top center of the tent that I hang a bug zapper from.
Great for my BBQ needs
