Constructed of very solid hardwood, high quality hardware pre-drilled, just eight screws for the table and 12 for the chairs, good sets of instructions. Just the right size for my breakfast nook, and seats six when expanded (I will bring chairs from other rooms for guests). Very pleased with this purchase.
