I ordered this chair because I had tried a few other types of chairs to replace my old, bigger recliner. After putting a desk in my TV room, I needed something on the smaller side. I tried a rocking chair, a beanbag chair (with a back), and a gaming chair. They were all uncomfortable after a few hours of sitting on it with my bony butt.
I decided to give this recliner a chance because according to reviews, it was on the smaller side. It is, but its not child size either. Im 58 years old, 51, 150 lbs and its a perfect fit for me. It was very easy to put together, but be careful that you line up the tracks just right. I didnt do that for one of the sides, and it was pain to get it off. That was my error though. Once I realized that, I was more careful with the rest, and it took almost no time to finish.
I was lucky. I ordered it on January 31st and was told it would be delivered between February 8th-14th, and as it was coming in two packages, I might not get both the same day. I got both packages on February 6th.
I would not recommend this to someone who is hard on furniture. My husband is one who just flops down, and likes to hang his legs over the side of recliners. I certainly wouldnt get one of these for him. I think it will hold up nicely for me though. Ive used it for the past two days for 6-8 hours at a stretch (Im binge watching right now) and Im so very happy with how comfortable I am. I do use the pillow that comes with it for my lower back. I love how I can actually sit cross-legged because the foot and seat are attached. I change positions a lot due to back, and knee issues. I love having cup holders, pouches, and a USB port to plug my phone into.
As for the massage and heat functions, Im not a fan. As others have mentioned, the massage is more of a vibration, and its a bit noisy. The heat function isnt for me because I use the pillow to support my lower back so the heat doesnt come through. That being said, I didnt buy the chair for these functions so Im okay with it. Others might care, which is the ONLY reason I didnt give it a full five stars.
So Comfortable
