I needed a budget friendly chair for the living room for additional seating and, if I’m honest, a place I can sit without having to share personal space with tiny humans when I get touched out.
PROS
1. Super easy to assemble. Assembly consists of 4 screw in feet with plastic washers, a drop in back (metal brackets, push down and done) and securing a Velcro flap.
2. Very, very comfortable. Cloud like. Great lower back support.
3. Fabric is great mix of black/white/grey which will stand up to the stains out house is known for with three kids, 4 dogs, and a cat. We live here, our furniture needs to be ready for war.
CONS(iderations)
1. It’s not made for taller or larger humans. I’m 5’5 and 130 lbs for reference, and there is about a 3-4 inch gap on either side of my hips when sitting in the chair. If you’re much bigger than me, this ain’t it. It’s perfect for me personally. My feet hang perfectly off the rest will full ankle support.
2. Seated it’s wonderfully comfy, but in the first reclining position, there isnt much neck support, but I’m very long in the torso, so there is that. If I go a bit further back to full recline, it’s very comfy, but my head does go further back than what I’d associate with a recliner for watching TV. It’s no matter for me as this chair is for reading and socializing and it watching TV.
Overall, I’m pleased! It’s half of what a traditional recliner would have set me back and it fits the space/scale for what we needed. It’s comfortable and has nice lines.
Great living room chair - with some trade offs.
