First let me say that this is a sturdy and well made bed. My order was delivered as planned, but much to my chagrin, there was supposed to be 3 boxes and I only received 2. I made contact multiple times with on the website and each person gave me a different answer. Finally someone called me.
She was understanding, patient and helpful. Ultimately, I took a full refund and then reordered the bed. This left me with an extra box of parts I already had, so I scheduled a pick up. I got a reminder yesterday of the pick up for today between 10 and 2. At ten minutes after 1:00 I received a call from a company telling me that they had just received the order 5 minutes ago and could not come until next week! The whole process has been a royal pain in the butt. My opinion of is not what it used to be. For anyone concerned about assembly, I am a 70 year old female and assembled it alone. However, be aware that the lock nuts go in the holes on the inside of the rails. The instructions appear to show them between the sides and the rails, which will not allow you to tighten it all down.
