I was afraid of the product I was going to get as there were few reviews. I took my chances as my 12 year old really wanted this bed for her 13th bday. I ordered the full size frame and a 6 inch mattress. The mattress fits perfect. Going with a thicker mattress would make the mattress too thick for the footboard portion of the bed and cover the headboard. It was timely to put together but was simple enough to do. Color is as expected. The drawers underneath do not connect to the frame at all. They just sit under the frame but they do not go all the way under and make things look neat. Decent amount of storage. Definitely not for heavy object or overfilling with clothes. I would recommend and purchase this bed again. It looks very nice in my teenagers room.
